2 Red Winery
Award Winning Wines Supporting Prostate Cancer Research
Drink Charitably
2Red Winery produces two of the reddest of red wines, our Rhone-styled #2Red and Zinpiphany® Zinfandel, both award winners, year after year.
Our award winning wines are available as gifts in exchange for your donation to our efforts to support prostate cancer research through the Robert and Susan Hollander Foundation.
The effusive bouquet of crushed raspberries with cloves and vanilla that Zinfandel can create is one of the most satisfying in all of wine. Zinfandel pairs beautifully with Italian cuisine and many grilled red meats. From 2007 through 2012, our grapes for Zinpiphany come from Grist Vineyards, found in the Dry Creek Valley region of Sonoma Valley. The 2013 will feature the old vines of Beatty Ranchy Vineyard on Howell Mountain.
Personal Favorite: the 2010 Zinpiphany, a powerhouse wine with the 15.8% alcohol masked by the intensity of the Zin fruit. Each vintage has been wonderful to drink in its youth while showing evolution with each passing year.

Inspired by the magnificent Chateauneuf du Pape byBeaucastel and originally called Chateauneuf du Bob’s Castle, this intense wine is a Syrah-based Rhone-style blend. The final blend varies but has recently included Durif, Grenache, Mourvedre and Viognier. The Santa Barbara County White Hawk Vineyards Syrah grapes have been remarkably consistent since our first vintage in 2007. The official name of this wine became #2Red with the 2012 bottling.
While the intensity of the Syrah fruit has given this wine tremendous appeal in its youth, the structure and complexity of the blend has shown that each vintage evolves beautifully with each passing year.
